What is the Equip Festival?
The Equip Festival is the UK’s ultimate creative ministry conference. It’s designed to equip you with inspiration, ideas, and a passion to explore how you could use creativity to share the Gospel in new ways.
Who is the Equip Festival for?
Whether you’re involved in children and family ministry, interested in using creativity in your evangelism, or already part of a creative ministry, The Equip Festival is for you!
Is the Equip Festival suitable for Children?
The Festival is targeted at those interested or involved in creative ministry, and is suitable for both adults and children.
However, please do not bring children under 9, unless they are an active member of a puppet or creative ministry team.
There is no childcare facilities available on site, and any children remain in the care and responsibility of their parents or team leader.
Is there a group Discount?
Yes, groups of over 10 places, receive a 10% discount on the booking. (this can be any combination of tickets, discount automatically applies at checkout)
Are there child, student or concession prices?
Yes, we offer discount for children (aged 15 and under). We don’t offer any student or concession discounts, however we do have a group booking discount of 10% when ten or more people book together (this can be any combination of tickets, discount automatically applies at checkout).
Is there any support for those on a very low income?
The ‘Make it Possible’ Fund helps people in severe hardship who otherwise could not afford to join us for the conference.
An application can be made for yourself with a reference from your team or church leader. Applications can also be made by a church leader or the group organiser on behalf of one of your team members. We cannot cover the cost of meals or travel.

The Content
What time does the event start and finish?
After a fantastic response to our first three days Festival in 2023, we are delighted to be hosting a three day event again in 2024!
Friday – Registration is open from 11:00am with the opening session starting on main stage at 1:00pm, it will then finish after the the evening event at 9:00pm.
Saturday – Registration is open from 8:30am with the first session starting at 9:30am, it will then finish after the incredible Saturday Night Showcase at 9:00pm
Sunday – Registration is open from 8:30am with the first session starting at 9:30am, it will then finish after the awards presentation at 4:30pm
Do I need to book workshops in advance?
No, you can pick and choose whichever workshops you want to go to, no pre-booking needed.
Are the workshops just about puppetry?
No, there are a wide range of workshops available! These include Gospel illusions, science illustrations, storytelling, kids ministry, drama, working with and including children and adults with learning difficulties, all age worship and so much more!
Getting There
What is the address?
The Equip Festival is held at Rugby College, Technology Drive, Rugby CV21 1AR
Is there free parking?
Yes, there is a large, free car park at the venue
What Airport is the closest?
The nearest airport is Birmingham Airport, which is connected to Rugby College by a regular, direct, 20min rail service. The Venue is also just a 2 hour drive or train from all the major London Airports.
What train station do I need?
Rugby Station is the nearest station if you are arriving by rail, or need a connection to and from the airport.
It’s located just around the corner, only a few minute walk.
Eating & Sleeping
Is Accomodation Included?
No, accommodation isn’t included in the ticket price. There are a wide range of hotels in the area, covering most budgets.
We will also be partnering with Rugby Methodist Church again this year to provide low cost accommodation for £5 a night, per person.

Which Hotel is closest?
The nearest hotel would be the Rugby Central Travelodge.
It’s just half a mile from the venue: a 2 minute drive or just a short 8 minute walk.
As it’s located next to Rugby train station, it’s the perfect option for those travelling by rail or air
Is food included?
No, food isn’t included in the ticket price. However, there is good value on-site catering available, as well as a wide array of other restaurants and fast food places nearby.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes, you are very welcome to bring your own food and drink in to the event.
